Coronavirus in your area: UK cases, death toll and recovery numbers where you live

Coronavirus is affecting communities across the country, with cases reported across the UK and the death toll continuing to rise
Coronavirus has left the UK and much of the world on lockdown as we battle to suppress the spread of the disease.
The government has taken the unprecedented step of ordering people to stay at home and to practice social distancing when making any necessary trips out for medical treatment, shopping for necessities, daily exercise or essential work.
The first confirmed death in the UK related to Covid-19 was on March 5, with the toll rising to 14,576 in the figures reported by the Department of Health on April 17. The actual death toll is higher, as this number does not include all those who have died outside hospital. The majority of the deaths are in England, but significant numbers have also died in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
The number of cases has been rising steadily across the country, although testing has gone through different phases so many cases may be unidentified. The number of confirmed cases passed 50,000 on April 6 and reached 100,000 on 16 April.
The deaths stretch across the nation, with both urban and rural areas affected, and cases reported in Orkney and the Western Isles.
